   The world's molybdenum resources are mainly distributed in the western mountains of North America and South America. The United States is the largest producer of molybdenum in the world. It is also the largest country in the world with the largest molybdenum reserves. It is 5 million 400 thousand tons, almost half of the total molybdenum reserves in the world.

   2. Deposit

   The molybdenum ore bed can be divided into three types:

   The primary molybdenum ore is mainly extracted from molybdenite concentrate.

   Secondary molybdenum ore, the separation of molybdenum from the main product copper;

   Molybdenum ore and molybdenum are of equal value for industrial exploitation.

  Molybdenum alloy is widely used, because it has many characteristics, such as high strength (2000 C), low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent thermal conductivity and conductivity, high corrosion resistance to molten glass, molten salt and molten metal, and improve the wear resistance of thin coatings.

  Molybdenum alloys produced by industry include molybdenum titanium zirconium series, molybdenum tungsten series and molybdenum rare earth alloys. The main strengthening ways of molybdenum alloys are solid solution strengthening, precipitation strengthening and work hardening. The molybdenum alloy sheet, strip, foil, pipe, bar, wire and profile can be produced by plastic processing, and the strength and the plasticity at low temperature can also be improved.
