Its performance is excellent, its cost is low and its weight is light. Molybdenum series high speed steels have the advantages of carbide inhomogeneity, wear resistance, good toughness and high temperature plasticity, they are suitable for manufacturing forming tools,containing alloy steels which can be used for manufacturing machine tool structural parts, industrial vehicles and bulldozing equipment. Molybdenum-containing alloy steel with micro-pearlite microstructure under rolling condition is an important steel in railway and bridge construction.

Although it is likely to be reduced to +5 valence state during electron transfer. However, other oxidations of molybdenum have also been found in the reduced enzyme. Molybdenum is a constituent of xanthine oxidase/dehydrogenase, aldehyde oxidase and sulfite oxidase, which is believed to be an essential trace element for human body, animals and plants. Compared with traditional stainless steel, molybdenum screw has excellent flexibility and oxidation resistance. The use of more widely in various occupations, the general stainless steel screw in high-pressure environment compared with molybdenum screw, compression can be stronger, so in space metals, will choose rare metals to manufacture, molybdenum screw as the connector between them.
