The quality of the billet directly affects the finished product properties and rate of final products in the production of tungsten and its alloy sheets, bars or wires. Except for the production process conditions, the powder performance is also an important factor to the billets.
Therefore, some properties of the tungsten powder are clearly stated in the production.
1. High purity, the purity is above 99.95%.
2. Low oxygen content, oxygen content must be less than 0.2%.
3.Medium and fine particles, the average particle size is 2 to 6 microns
4.The powder should be gray or pure gray, should not have brown, blue oxide or mechanical inclusions.
After molding, the tungsten powder body billets need to be sintered twice before they can be processed. The first sintering is carried out at a lower temperature, called pre-sintering, and the second time is a high temperature sintering carried out below the melting point of metal tungsten.
The billets obtained under the strict quality control is our company quality assurance for the further production and processing.
