Study On The Process Of High Temperature Molybdenum Wire

 High temperature molybdenum wire overcomes the shortcoming of brittle fracture ,compard with pure molybdenum wire at high temperature, greatly prolongs the service life of the material, and it is favored by the vast majority of users with excellent comprehensive performance. Judging from the domestic market in recent years, the consumption is increasing year by year and the market prospect is promising. At present, domestic technology workers in the same industry are actively developing high-temperature molybdenum products. In view of the above reasons, it is particularly important to find a reasonable, feasible and economical process for producing it.

 

   High temperature molybdenum wire test method

   In this experiment, the same batch of high temperature molybdenum powder was selected and 20 high temperature blanks were pressed and sintered in 1#~4# process. Different methods were used to make different specifications of high temperature molybdenum wire through rotary forging, chain pull, turntable and annealing. Meanwhile, the microstructure and properties of the wire were analyzed.

  Test scheme

  1: 

  High temperature molybdenum powder - cold isostatic pressing forming bar billet - intermediate frequency induction sintering rolling rolling - rotary forging - rough annealing 

  2:

  high temperature molybdenum powder - oil pressure machine molding square strip activated sintering - rolling bloom - rotary forging - rough annealing - and other processing means.

  3:

 high temperature powder - oil pressure machine molding square strip activated sintering rotary forging billet Rotary Forging rough annealing process.

(1) after 1# billet was rolled, the microstructure of <1.9mm high temperature molybdenum wire was most homogeneous, followed by 2#, 3# samples.

(2) 1# high temperature rod billet was rolled and rolled into <0.6mm high temperature molybdenum wire. After recrystallization annealing, the most developed swallowtail joints were formed, followed by 2#, 3#

(3) the mechanical properties of 1# high temperature bar billet after rolling are better than those of 2#, 3# .

(4) high temperature billet should be sintered by round bar billet and medium frequency induction furnace. After rolling, it is an effective way to draw high temperature molybdenum wire.
