Tungsten wire with good winding performance, not sagging, suitable for ordinary incandescent lamp, double helix or triple helix fluorescent lamp, festival lamp, support wire, etc. High temperature resistance, good processing performance, suitable for halogen lamps, spiral incandescent lamps, etc. High recrystallization temperature, high temperature anti-sag performance, suitable for seismic resistant filament, high color temperature filament and other special lamps.
At present, tungsten wire is mostly used for filament of incandescent lamp and halogen lamp, but there are still a few used for heating material of high temperature furnace, heat of electron tube and strengthening of composite material.
Tungsten has good acid and alkali resistance at room temperature, but is easy to be oxidized in humid air, so the fine tungsten wire can not be stored in a humid environment for too long. In addition, tungsten reacts with carbon to form tungsten carbide around 1200℃. Therefore, attention should be paid to this problem in the hydrogen burning treatment of the filament; otherwise, tungsten reacts with graphite lubricant on the surface, and the filament will become brittle and fracture.
