Compared with welded tungsten crucibles, tungsten crucibles produced by powder metallurgy have the advantages of long life and large heat generation.
However, the powder metallurgical process for producing tungsten crucibles has the disadvantage that it is difficult to accurately control the sintering conditions. Often, the produced tungsten crucibles cannot fully meet the design requirements, and even defective products appear, which improves the furnace loading conditions in production. Controlling the shrinkage of the lower part of the tungsten crucible and causing it to slip can eliminate these undesirable phenomena, and the improvement method is easy to achieve.
This is of great significance for avoiding production of defective products.
