Compared with welded tungsten crucibles, tungsten crucibles produced by powder metallurgy have the advantages of long life and large heat generation. However, the powder metallurgy process has the disadvantage of difficult to accurately control the sintering conditions. Often, the produced tungsten crucibles cannot fully meet the design requirements, and even waste products appear.

Improving the furnace loading conditions in production, controlling the shrinkage of the lower part of the tungsten crucible and causing it to slip, can eliminate these undesirable phenomena, and the improvement method is easy to implement, which is of great significance to avoid production of defective products.
